PSG Grant for Websites in Singapore Has Ended. Here Is What the EDGE Grant Covers

If you searched for the PSG grant to help pay for a website, here is the first thing to know: PSG stopped taking new applications on 29 September 2026. Most of what you will find online still describes the old scheme. This is what replaced it, what it means for a website budget, and where a custom build fits. We are not a pre-approved grant vendor, so we have nothing to sell you on the grant side.

The short answer

The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG), together with EDG and MRA, ceased on 29 September 2026. Since 30 September 2026, Enterprise Singapore funds new projects through one scheme, the EDGE Grant. For digital projects, EDGE supports SMEs at up to 50% of qualifying costs. But it only pays for pre-approved digital solutions from listed vendors. A custom website from a developer who is not on that list is not claimable.

What happened to PSG

Enterprise Singapore's PSG page now carries a notice that EDG, MRA and PSG ceased on 29 September 2026. If you submitted a PSG application before that date, it is still assessed under the old rules, and you can claim through the Business Grants Portal once the project is complete. No new PSG applications are accepted.

The EDGE Grant at a glance

What The rule
Support level Up to 50% of qualifying costs for SMEs. Up to 70% for internationalisation and sustainability activities.
Yearly cap S$100,000 per company across all activities, refreshed on 1 April each year.
Digital sub-cap Up to S$30,000 of that for digital solutions, enterprise systems and pre-scoped equipment.
How it pays Reimbursement. One final claim after you have paid in full.
Where to apply The Business Grants Portal, using Corppass.

These figures come from Enterprise Singapore's EDGE Grant page and its EDGE Grant FAQ, as published on 12 October 2026.

Who is eligible

  • Registered and operating in Singapore. EDGE only supports Singapore-registered business entities.
  • At least 30% local ownership. The business must be at least 30% owned by Singaporeans or Singapore PRs.
  • SME size for the higher support level. Group annual sales turnover of not more than S$100 million, or group employment of not more than 200 workers. Larger companies can still apply, at up to 30%.
  • Not a home-based business. This applies to the digital solutions we checked, and the solution has to be used in Singapore.
  • No earlier grant for the same solution. You cannot be funded twice for the same thing.

Criteria differ by activity, so read the page for the specific activity before you apply.

Can the EDGE Grant pay for a website?

This is where most people get caught out. EDGE funds digital projects as pre-approved solutions built for a specific function. You pick the vendor and the package from the list on IMDA's SMEs Go Digital platform, and your grant application has to match that package exactly.

That has two consequences for a website:

  • You cannot bring your own developer. If the vendor is not on the pre-approved list, the build is not claimable through this route, however good the quote is.
  • The grant pays for the packaged solution, not everything around it. On the solution pages we checked, the supported cost is the software, capped at 12 months. GST and maintenance are excluded.

So the useful question is not "can I get a grant for my website" but "is there a pre-approved package that does what I need". Search the SMEs Go Digital list first. If a package fits, the subsidy is real money and you should take it. If nothing fits, you are paying full price either way, so choose the developer on merit.

Four rules that catch people out

  • Apply before you spend anything. Retrospective applications are not supported. If work has started, or you have paid any deposit, before you submit, the application is out.
  • You pay first. The grant is a reimbursement. You pay the vendor in full, then claim. There are no cash advances, and EDGE accepts only a single, final claim.
  • You apply yourself. Applications go through the Business Grants Portal with your own Corppass. Vendors and third parties cannot submit for you.
  • You cannot swap vendors after approval. If you change your mind, the application has to be terminated and submitted again.

How to apply, step by step

  1. Find a pre-approved vendor and solution on SMEs Go Digital.
  2. Get a quotation from that vendor.
  3. Build a solution package on SMEs Go Digital that matches the quotation exactly, and confirm it with Corppass to get a package reference ID.
  4. Apply on the Business Grants Portal.
  5. If you are approved, accept the Letter of Offer.
  6. Complete the project and pay the vendor in full.
  7. Submit your claim on the portal. Claims for digital solutions open from 1 November 2026.

On timing, the digital solution pages we checked quote an application outcome in about one week, and the project has to be finished within 18 months of approval. Once a claim is approved, payment takes about 14 working days by PayNow Corporate, or up to eight weeks by GIRO.

Where NodeFlux fits

We will say it plainly. NodeFlux is not a pre-approved vendor, so a website or app built by us cannot be claimed under the EDGE Grant's digital solutions route. We would rather you hear that from us now than find out after you have signed.

If a pre-approved package covers what you need, use it and take the subsidy. If you need something built around how your business works, compare quotes at full price. Our own pricing is on our services page, and our website cost guide explains what a fair quote should include.

The bottom line

PSG is closed. The EDGE Grant can cover up to half the cost of a pre-approved digital solution, but it does not fund a custom website from any developer you like. Check the pre-approved list first, never pay a deposit before you apply, and plan your cashflow around being reimbursed later.

Grant rules change. Everything here reflects Enterprise Singapore's published pages as of 12 October 2026, so confirm the details on the official EDGE Grant page before you apply.
